Will Quince MP – Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Children and Families

The SEND and Alternative Provision Green Paper, which the Department for Education (DfE) published on 29 March 2022, aims to create a more inclusive education system which will improve the experience and outcomes for children and young people with SEND and those who need alternative provision (AP).  With everyone involved in the SEND and AP system agreeing that the system is not working as it should; the green paper sets out how government plans to improve that.

The green paper recognises the importance of early years settings and providers, and with proposals covering children and young people aged 0-25 with all levels of special educational needs and disabilities, it is relevant for all early years professionals.

Join this exclusive webinar to gain a greater understanding of the proposals in the green paper and what they mean for Early Years, and to directly put your views to, and ask questions of, the Minister about the green paper.

    Takeaways:

    ·        An update on key proposals for changes relevant for early years, schools and local authorities

    ·       An opportunity for you directly to put your views to, and ask questions of, the Minister about the Green Paper.
